Engaging and Supporting umpires and scorers

To be part of a group of likeminded individuals passionate in cricket.
Access to training, development and continuous professional development (CPD) events organised by the Association including ECB ACO accredited umpire and scorer training & education programmes.
Opportunity to officiate in the Saracens Hertfordshire ECB Premier League and in latter stages of the County 20/20 competitions, County Age group, Senior and a variety of School and Area cricket.
Take part in umpire exchange programme with Middlesex, Surrey, Essex, Kent, Home Counties and other leagues.
Personal Accident Insurance when officiating in any game in the Saracens Hertfordshire Cricket League, or in any schools or Hertfordshire age group county games to which you have been appointed by a HACO official.
Attend members evenings and social events.

What does membership offer!

Eligibility!

Membership is open to all umpires and scorers.

To be part of the Hertfordshire Association of Cricket Officials' Panel and to be appointed to matches, you will need to be:

A fully paid up subscribing member of the Association,
Have attended the ECB Umpire Course (2025+) or equivalent training since 2020,
Possess a current Disclosure and Barring Service clearance certificate (DBS), and
Attended the annual pre-season CPD event organised by the Association.

How to join!

There is no joining fee.

The current annual membership fee is £10 and FREE to anyone under 21.
