During the week of the 24 – 31 August this year, Blunham Cricket Club are hosting their third world record attempt in order to raise money for 2 charities - Mind & Sue Ryder St John’s - plus raising money for the local sporting community. They were successful in the earlier attempts.

They aim to play 24/7 cricket. That will be 168 continuous hours and during that complete period of time they will need two qualified umpires, who can only work four-hour shifts.

Officials are able to do as many stints as they would like, however must have a four-hour break in between each.

They are looking for as many volunteers as possible to fill the slots. Attached is their official poster, highlighting what a great week they have planned.
